What is the Presence Display (Busy Indicator)?

How to use the Presence Display in sipgate to see which users are available or on a call.

In your sipgate account, you'll find the Presence Display under My Telephony. This feature shows which users are currently available and serves as an alternative to a busy lamp field.

If a user is on a call, their tile—showing their internal extension—will turn red.

Important: Each user must be assigned an internal extension for this feature to work.

Using the Presence Display

• In the left-hand navigation bar, you'll find the Presence section with all internal extension numbers.

• Clicking an extension will start a call to that colleague.

• If an extension is busy, its tile will appear red. If it's being dialed, the tile will have a red border, and the user's name will move.

• You can still place a call to a busy extension if needed.
