# sipgate app AI Features

#### Where to find the Boosts AI features?

The AI features are located in the sipgate app under ➔ Settings ➔ AI functions.

Once an AI function is activated, a transcript of all calls made is created. You can view a summary of the call or a meaningful headline for a call.

#### AI summary

When this menu item is activated, each call is provided with a summary at the end. This summary identifies important topics and key points and displays them as bullet points or short sentences. The summary can be transferred directly to the note using the Transfer to note button. The content can be removed using Three dots ➔ Delete AI summary. The summary cannot be edited or improved. It can be found in the call list under the respective calls. The activated AI functions can be found under Show more. The summary can be deleted using the three dots button.

If the sipgate app business or sipgate app premium is activated, transcript text can be selected, copied, and pasted into the sipgate app note or CRM.

**Edit summaries**

Summaries cannot yet be edited if they were created for a sipgate contact. They can be edited if they were transferred manually or automatically to a linked CRM.

**Summary: additional settings**\
Open the respective call in the call list/personal inbox and open the three-dot button under AI functions.\
Users then have the following options:\
\- "Delete summary"\
\- "Copy"\
\- "Reset keywords"\
\- "Reset text"

Important: The evaluation is optimized for speech. Music or loud ambient noise can interfere with speech recognition, so recording is recommended in such cases. The duration of the transcript may vary depending on the time of day and workload.

If the transcriptions are activated, the AI summary can be used at the end of the call.

**LLM selection**

With version 2.12.1, you can specify your preferred LLM provider for AI functions – either OpenAI (US provider with hosting in Europe) or Mistral AI (GDPR-compliant and entirely European). The selection can only be made by administrators and applies to the entire account, i.e. to all users.

#### Subjects

All recorded conversations are labeled with a meaningful title here.

#### Smart Answers

During a conversation, Smart Answers check predefined questions using individually configurable questions and provide the answers that arise from the conversation as a summary.

#### Development of new features

**Lab functions**

Here, we test whether new functions work in principle and offer added value for users.

**Beta functions**

We are already convinced of the beta functions and want to make them available to a broad group and continuously develop them further. However, these functions are still in the testing phase and are constantly being expanded.

**Productive functions**

These are multiple-iterated functions that have taken customer feedback into account and have been brought to market readiness as applications.
