# How do I start a call in the sipgate app?

To make an outgoing call from the sipgate app, click on the magnifying glass in the top left corner.

Then, either search for an existing contact or enter a phone number.

Once you've found the contact or fully entered the number, click on the green phone icon next to the number. The call will then be initiated.
