sipgate basic for private customers and sipgate team for business customers have now been merged to one product: sipgate! We've read your comments and feedback, and many of you require a product somewhere in between a "residential" product and a "business" product. This rebranding allows for this in-between while at the same time offering the same sipgate look and functionality, meaning that upgrading, downgrading, and switching between sipgate plans is even more fluid and sipgate basic customers gain a more accurate overview of their account.

Which changes can I expect for my existing account?

Existing sipgate basic customers will now have a "sipgate starter" plan instead of a "sipgate basic account", but the functionality of the account remains the same. Your telephony routing and devices will not be affected. In addition, sipgate basic customers will have a few more options when they log in - it will look a bit different, but again, have the same functionality. Another advantage is that upcoming functions will be available for all customers simultaneously.
