By connecting sipgate with SugarCRM, you can call your contacts from SugarCRM via click2dial. When you receive an incoming call you will immediately see the contact details of the caller in SugarCRM. In addition you can see your call history in SugarCRM.
In order to perform the following steps, you must book at least one integration plan for SugarCRM in sipgate team. You can book an integration plan by logging in as an administrator and going to the Plans & Packages section of your sipgate team account.
You will also need a SugarCRM account.
Connecting your sipgate account with SugarCRM (requires admin rights)
1. Set up access rights to the sipgate account
We've partnered with Hej to create the SalesCTI Connector in order to connect sipgate and Sugar. To get the Connector, go to Hej's setup page for SugarCRM integrations and login with your sipgate login details.
After successfully logging in, you must give Hej SalesCTI access rights to your sipgate account. To do this simply click on "Allow" on the next pop-up.
2. Setting up access rights to your SugarCRM account
On the next page, select SugarCRM.
Enter your InstanceUrl and the login details of your SugarCRM account.
Download the SugarCRM Wizard provided on this page. Then, upload this file in the administration area of your SugarCRM account under "Developer Tools --> Module Loader".
3. Activating users and groups
In the Users tab, both sipgate account users as well as SugarCRM users will be displayed. Here you can link the corresponding profiles together and use the Call Logging button to have calls automatically logged in SugarCRM.
If you also want to see group calls in SugarCRM, you can activate the desired groups in the Groups tab.
4. Installing the browser extension
The following steps do not require sipgate administration rights and can be performed by any user.
Calls are displayed in the SugarCRM interface via browser extension. This is available for Mozilla Firefox and Google Chrome and can be obtained from the following address:
5. Logging into the browser extension.
After installation, you can access the extension from the extension bar of your browser.
Before making or receiving your first call, you'll need to log into the extension with your sipgate user details first.
Afterwards, log into the extension with your SugarCRM login data.
Lastly, select the VoIP phone you want to use for outgoing calls.
