By connecting sipgate with Salesforce, you can call your contacts from Salesforce via click2dial. For incoming calls, you can immediately see the contact data of the caller in Salesforce. In addition, your call history will be available in Salesforce.
Prerequisites
To perform the following steps, you must have booked at least one integration plan for Salesforce CRM from within your sipgate team account. An account administrator can book an integration plan at any time within the Plans & Packages section.You will also need a Salesforce account.
Connecting sipgate and Salesforce requires the use of Hej SalesCTI Connector.
Connecting sipgate and Salesforce
You'll need to have account administration rights in order to complete this integration.
1. Set up access rights to your sipgate account
The Hej SalesCTI Connector is used for communication between sipgate and Salesforce. Go to the setup page for Salesforce integration at https://cti.hej.sx/login and log in with your sipgate login credentials.
After successfully logging in, give Hej SalesCTI access rights to your sipgate account by clicking "Allow".
2. Set up access rights to your Salesforce account
Next, select Salesforce and log in with your Salesforce credentials.
As before, allow Hej SalesCTI access to your Salesforce account.
3. Activate users and groups within Salesforce
The Users tab will now display the users of your sipgate account as well as your Salesforce users. Here you can link the respective users with each other and automatically log the calls in Salesforce via the Call Logging button.
If you also want to see group calls in Salesforce, you can activate the desired groups in the Groups tab.
4. Install browser extension
The following steps do not require sipgate administration rights and can be performed by any user.
Calls can be displayed in the Salesforce interface via a browser extension. This is available for Mozilla Firefox and Google Chrome, and can be obtained from the following address:

5. Log in to the browser extension
After installation, you can make calls via the extension, which you can see in the extension bar of your browser.
The first time you click the extension, you'll need to log in with your sipgate user data.

You will then need to log in to the extension with your Salesforce credentials.
In the last step, select the VoIP phone of your user that you want to use for outgoing calls.
The installation is now successfully completed.
