After finishing the online sign up successfully we now require you to confirm your postal address before we can activate your account's (team or trunking) telephony.
This step in the sipgate team and/or trunking “onboarding” process is very important as it's this address that would be provided to the emergency services in case of an emergency call being made from your sipgate account.
A letter of verification which contains a "start code" is sent to this address as a manual address verification step and to avoid fraudulent use of our services. The "start code" letter is posted on the next working day after the online sign up takes place.
Please allow 2 to 3 work days for delivery for addresses in mainland UK: Addresses outside the UK can take considerably longer. After receiving the letter, please log into your account and enter the start code shown in the letter. After entry, your account telephony will be immediately activated.
Please be aware that as long as your postal address is not verified, your accounts telephony will not be made active, therefore neither outgoing nor incoming calls can be made.
