How can I create system logs in the sipgate app CLINQ?
If you encounter errors that aren't immediately explainable, we may ask you to send us the log data from your sipgate app CLINQ. But where can you find the log data? It only takes a few steps.
On macOS
- Open the sipgate app CLINQ.
- In the Apple menu bar, go to Help → Export Logs.
- Save the zip file and attach it to your email to us.
On Windows
- Open the sipgate app CLINQ.
- In the app, click the three-dot menu "..." and select Help → Export Logs.
- Save the zip file and attach it to your email to us.
On Linux
- Open the sipgate app CLINQ.
- In the app, go to Help → Export Logs.
- Save the zip file and attach it to your email to us. Alternatively, you can enter the following path in your file manager: ~/.config/sipgate-desktop/logs.
- Check the main.log and renderer.log files for errors, or send them directly to support.
