How do I set up the sipgate App CLINQ?

The sipgate app CLINQ is included for free in your business plan and offers advanced features for your business telephony, including seamless integration with the sipgate cloud telephone system. For additional features, you can upgrade to the Business or Premium packages at any time.

Booking the sipgate App CLINQ

Log into your account and navigate to My Telephony in accountmanagement. In the left sidebar of the menu, you will find the option to book the sipgate app CLINQ directly. Additionally, as an admin, you can book the sipgate app for your users in their respective profiles.

The packages differ between Business Integrations and Premium Integrations. You can find the functionality of the respective CRMs here.

Downloading the sipgate App CLINQ

Once you have booked the app, you can download the required file directly from your account. Each user will also automatically receive a download link via email, allowing them to download and use the app.

In the next step, select your operating system and download the necessary files. You can also copy a download link if needed.

Open the configuration file next and follow the instructions displayed in a pop-up window to install the app on your computer.

Setting Up the sipgate App CLINQ

After successfully installing the sipgate app, you need to link it with your sipgate account. Log in using your sipgate account details and confirm the login with the verification code sent to your registered email address.

Tip: If your Google or Microsoft account is linked to your sipgate account, you can also use social login to sign in.

During your first login, you should agree to the listed permissions for the sipgate app.

If you have multiple phones set up, the next step is to select the VoIP phone you want to configure with the app. You can change this setting at any time.

First, you can adjust your audio settings by selecting a microphone and a speaker/headset.

Next, you can synchronize your contacts with the sipgate app by clicking Connect next to the desired provider. In the next step, enter the API URL and the API key. For some CRM systems, you will be redirected directly to log in to your CRM instance without having to enter the API information. This confirms the data exchange between sipgate and your CRM system. In the final step, synchronize your contacts with the sipgate app by clicking Connect next to the desired provider.

Lastly, please check that the region on your device is set correctly to Germany so that the phone numbers in the call list are displayed correctly. Go to Windows Settings ➔ Time & Language ➔ Language & Region ➔ Set Region to Germany and save your changes. You only need to perform this setting on your PC or laptop.
