All you need to use sipgate is a broadband connection, a VoIP/SIP compliant device (Phone, ATA adapter, PBX or a software app/softphone), and your sipgate team or sipgate trunking account.
You'll need the following to make and receive VoIP calls with sipgate team:
- A sipgate team or a sipgate trunking account.

- A SIP Protocol compliant VoIP device. This can be a physical VoIP phone or device or a free VoIP computer or smartphone application, or in the case of sipgate trunking, a SIP based IP-PBX (IP - Private Branch Exchange / Phone Exchange System). Our Help Centre has setup guides for many popular phones and devices.
- A suitable broadband internet connection. A stable DSL or Cable internet connection should provide better call quality than fixed line 'Plain Old Telephone Service' (POTS).
