How can I port my phone number to other providers?
You can port your sipgate number to another provider. Your new provider will handle the process and submit the porting request on your behalf.
Porting Fixed-line Numbers
Porting fixed-line numbers is free of charge, regardless of how many numbers you are transferring.
Porting Mobile Numbers
If an employee is leaving your company but wishes to keep their mobile number, you can transfer it to another provider. The number must first be released for porting by a sipgate account administrator. This release is valid for 30 days.
Important: Mobile numbers linked to an active sipgate product and not ported to another provider will be automatically cancelled on the porting date.
How to release a mobile number for porting

Log in as an administrator to your sipgate account.
-
Navigate to Phone Numbers.
