How can I reject calls when busy (Busy on Busy)?
Enable the Reject Call When Busy feature so that callers receive a busy tone when you are already on a call. This ensures that no additional calls come through while you're engaged in another conversation.
To enable this feature, follow these steps
- Click My Telephony on the homepage.
- In the left-hand menu, go to Settings and then User Settings.
- Scroll down until you find the Reject Call When Busy section.
- Click the toggle so that it turns green and says Yes.
Once activated, all phone numbers linked to your user account will play a busy tone if you're already on a call. This setting takes effect immediately.
Exception: If you use sipgate CLINQ 2.x for calls, the Busy on Busy function will not work. CLINQ relies on a separate app extension for outgoing calls, which is not monitored by this feature. In this case, you will remain reachable, and incoming calls will still be routed to your VoIP phone or other devices.
