Bria (iOS and Android)

Counterpath's Bria softphone is compatible with Android, Apple iOS, Windows, Linux, Mac and Windows Phone OS. 

Bria comes pre-configured for use with sipgate.  

Bria can be purchased in the Apple App Store and Google Play Store

After installing Bria all you should need is your SIPID and SIP Password

To set up Bria on your computer or laptop please click here.  

 Tap the Gear icon in the bottom right corner and then tap on '@ Accounts'. 


 Tap on "+ Add Account": 

 When the List of ITSP Accounts has loaded select the sipgate UK entry: 

 Enter your SIP-ID and SIP Password:

 Click back to the Accounts screen to check if Bria has registered online successfully (green): 

Testing your Phone's Set Up:

Call the following numbers for free to test your phone's configuration:

  • 10000
  • 10005
  • 10020
  • 50000 (sipgate voicemail)

 If you've problems registering Bria or with calls please test with and without the STUN Server enabled:

In the "Account Advanced" menu of Bria's sipgate account your STUN settings can be changed. 


 If you're using 3G/4G, please only enable lower bandwidth codecs:
