Why are my UK trial numbers 056?

We provide 3 non-geographic, 056 UK telephone numbers for the duration of the 30 day trial for the purpose of testing our services. At the end of the 30 days, these numbers disappear from your account. 

These 056 test numbers are fully functional for the duration of your trial and do not differ in functionality from a local UK number.

You'll be able to make and receive calls as well as test call forwarding, call quality, and any other desired call management setup you may need.

The 056 numbers are assigned to your account with the intention of testing your desired call setup and ensuring that sipgate is the right service for you and your business.

As such, these numbers are intended to be used to test the quality of our service and not meant for customer interaction.  

Please know we are unable to provide local numbers for testing purposes. Once you decide sipgate is right for you, we'll provide you with one free telephone number with the local code of your choice.

It is not possible to retain the 056 numbers after the trial nor is it possible to book 056 telephone numbers with us.
