Grandstream Wave (Android)

The Grandstream Wave SIP Softphone's available in the Google Play Store here.

 Grandstream's Wave product site:

 To configure GS Wave you will need your SIPID and SIP Password.

 After installing and opening GS Wave, tap on Settings --> Account Settings.

 Tap the  "+" button and select SIP Account and enter your sipgate basic residential SIP Credentials:

Be sure to use your SIPID and SIP Password, not your sipgate account's web login username/email and password.

 Tap on the  tick button in the top right hand corner.

 Next tap on the sipgate account and scroll down to SIP Settings and set the Registration Expiraion (m) to 10.

 In Settings --> Advanced Settings turn off the Random Port option.

 GS wave should by now have registered with your sipgate basic residential account.

 

Testing your Phone's Set Up:

 To test your phone's configuration dial the following sipgate numbers:

  • 10000
  • 10005
  • 10020

 If you have problems with calls or registering Acrobits online, test with the STUN Server setting enabled:

STUN Server: stun.sipgate.net

STUN Port: 3478

 

Using Multiple Phones Behind the Same Router:

 If there's more than one VoIP phone/device on the same local network, each should us different Local SIP and Local RTP Ports.

For each SIP Phone or device you add, increment the local ports used by 100.
