X-Lite (Windows & Mac OS)

 To configure X-Lite you will need your SIPID and SIP Password.

 

General Configuration for X-Lite:

 The settings in the following images will help set up the X-Lite application with your sipgate team account:

 Click Softphone --> Account Settings :

 Enter the following information to configure X-Lite with your sipgate basic residential account:

Be sure to use your SIPID and SIP Password, not your sipgate account's web login username and password.

 Under Transport select UDP :

 Advanced:

 Click Okay. X-Lite will enable your account and register online:

 
If X-Lite fails to enable, recheck the details you've entered and try again.

If X-Lite still fails to enable, test with STUN Server enabled in Account Settings under the Topology tab:

 

Testing your Phone's Set Up:

 To test your phone's configuration dial the following sipgate numbers:

  • 10000
  • 10005
  • 10020

Using Multiple Phones Behind the Same Router:

If there's more than one VoIP phone/device on the same local network, assigning each different local UDP ports will avoid port conflicts.

For each SIP Phone or device you add, increment the local ports used by 100.
