sipgate team & trunking Help

What is sipgate trunking?

sipgate trunking uses "SIP trunking" to provide a connection of your VoIP PBX to the public telephone network (PSTN) through sipgate services. The single registration of your PBX with our service replaces the requirement to register all your phones individually.

As long as your PBX supports VoIP over SIP, there won't be a difference to a regular ISDN BRI/PRI line normally used for trunking.

Due to sipgate's full support of the SIP standard, you'll receive all relevant call information required for the routing and statistical functionality offered by your PBX. As well, you'll be able to set the appropriate Caller ID on outbound calls.

Further information can be found on our trunking pages.

Our Help-Centre provides configuration examples for a selection of popular PBXs here.

If you require assistance with the initial setup of your PBX, please contact the PBX manufacturer or provider.
