What is sipgate trunking?
sipgate trunking uses SIP trunks to provide the connection of your VoIP PBX to the public telephone network (PSTN) through sipgate services. The single registration of your PBX with our service replaces the requirement to register all your phones individually.
As long as your PBX supports VoIP over SIP, there won't be a difference to a regular ISDN BRI/PRI line normally used for trunking.
Due to sipgate's full support of the SIP standard, you'll receive all relevant call information required for the routing and statistical functionality offered by your PBX.
It is also possible for you to set an appropriate Caller ID on outbound calls against any of the sipgate numbers which are present on your sipgate trunking account..
Further information can be found on our sipgate trunking website. In addition, our Help-Centre provides some useful configuration examples for a selection of popular PBXs, these can be found here.
Due to the nature of the service and since your PBX is local to your Network and such outside of our support reach, then If you require assistance with the setup of your PBX after registration with sipgate, please contact the PBX's manufacturer or provider.
