Data Traffic Generated by a sipgate Call

During a one-hour phone call approximately 50-60 MB of data traffic will be used, using the G711 codec. During a phone call conducted through sipgate, there is on average 100 Kbits of data volume per second and direction (Up and Downstream).

If you do not make a phone call, there is only an extremely small amount of data traffic which takes place for the registration of the phone with the SIP Server.
