How do I set up a VoIP extension?

You can set up phones without assigning them to a specific User, and instead assign them to specific locations. Keep in mind that the VoIP extension does not have an event log. Each VoIP extension costs €4.95 per month.

How it works

In Accountmanagement, go to Telephony, then Additional VoIP devices and click the button: +Add.

Enter any name for the extension and click Add device.

Now, click on the new extension and go to SIP Credentials. Here you’ll find the credentials needed to enter to an existing VoIP phone.

If the new endpoint should be reachable under a phone number, click Add Phone Number under Routing. This completes the VoIP extension setup.

Using as an Analog Fax or Video Phone

To use the extension as an analog fax or video phone, follow these steps:

Go to Settings and toggle the Use as Analog Fax or Video Phone option to Yes.
