How do I verify my 999 emergency address?

To contact emergency services from your sipgate account, you must configure and activate a valid UK emergency location. Foreign addresses are not accepted. Without a valid UK address, you cannot make emergency calls, which could lead to complications in an emergency.

sipgate will verify your address, and you'll receive an email once the service is activated. This process may take a few days. You can check the status in your Account Administration settings.

Please be aware of the following limitations for VoIP-originated emergency calls

• Requires a power source and internet connection to dial 999.
• You must confirm your location to ensure the correct emergency response.
• Calls may travel over the public internet, lacking the network priority of mobile or fixed-line calls.
• Do not make test calls to "see if it works."
