BLF with Snom IP Phones

Note: Before your can use Presence/BLF, an account Administrator must first book the monthly Pro Package add-on in your sipgate account settings under 'Account Administration - Plans & Packages - My Plan - Pro Package for sipgate' 

This guide describes the setup of sipgate Presence (BLF) with:

Snom 300, 320, 360, 370, 710, 715, 720, 820 and 870 IP Phones.

Using the instructions in your device manual, please login to the Web Configuration Menu of your Snom.

On the left side of your Snom's Configuration Menu, under 'Setup' select 'Function Keys'.

• 'Context': please select your sipgate account;
• 'Type': select 'Extension'; (Firmware Version 6: the Key Type 'Extension' is called 'Destination')

• 'Number': enter <sip:Extension@sipgate.co.uk> e.g. use <sip:42@sipgate.co.uk>to see the status of the team User with extension number 42.
