How to upload and manage customised music on hold

You can replace the default Music on Hold played during call holding at the account level. This allows callers to recognize that their call is on hold, for example, during a transfer.
To upload a custom Music on Hold MP3 file, you must be logged into your sipgate account as an Administrator.

Steps to add custom hold music

Go to Account AdministrationCustomisation.
Scroll down to the Call hold section and click the gear icon.

Click Upload MP3 to add your custom audio file. Your file must be in MP3 format and can be up to 10 MB in size. You can rename, delete, or select which hold music file to use.

Click Save to apply your changes.

The uploaded file will now replace the default hold music played when calls are put on hold across your account.
