Activate/Deactivate Compatibility Mode

If you would like to use functions like conventional fax and video conferencing compatibility mode must be activated.

Note: sipgate normally uses one preferred codec so that additional functions like call waiting, call forwarding, conference calls and recording calls can be used. Enabling compatibility mode will disable these features.


To enable Compatibility Mode:

  • In your User's Settings under Phone open your Advanced Settings:
  • Each of your VoIP Phones will have a Compatibility mode option:
