Transfer: How to Transfer an Active Call to Another Phone

Probably the most important function of any telephone system, this allows you to transfer an active call to another colleague, call group or external phone number.



  1. First press *3 followed by the desired phone number or internal extension number. Then, to confirm the action, press #
  2. You’ll be connected to the chosen number. To perform an Attended Transfer just stay on the line and inform the other person about the incoming call. For an Unattended Transfer, simply hang up. The caller will be transferred as soon as you hang up.
  3. To cancel the transfer and terminate the connection, please press *8

Important note:

After dialling *3, the caller will be put on Hold. You can upload your own personalised Hold music in your sipgate team account settings.
