Custom Greetings
You can choose whether to use the standard greeting for missed calls or set a personalized one. If you opt for a custom greeting, you can record it directly in your account (Click2Record) or upload an MP3. To do this, go to your Voicemail under Telephony.
Group voicemails can only be changed by admins. Navigate to the group voicemail under Voicemails and devices and select the specific Group Voicemail.
You can also set up Voicemail under Telephony then Groups. Here you can adjust your routing diagram to determine when voicemail activates and which greeting is played.
In the Routing settings, you can easily define when the Voicemail should activate and which greeting to play. Just click on Edit Routing, then Add Forwarding, and select Voicemail. For any future adjustments, simply use the gear icon.
Notifications
You can receive notifications of new voicemails via email or SMS and decide whether individuals or entire groups should be notified. Go to Voicemail under Telephony and click on Email Notifications.
For more notification and filter options, click on Notifications in the navigation panel and create a new filter for calls, voicemails, or SMS.
Listening to Voicemails
The sipgate Voicemail allows you to retrieve messages from any phone, even outside your account. You just need a PIN, which you can easily set for one or multiple voicemails.
By clicking on the Voicemail entry in the Event-List, a menu will open with detailed information about your received messages. Here, you can listen to messages, download them, or return calls. You'll also find a transcript of the message and the option to add the caller to your contacts.
