Note, due to the nature of SIP trunking, our support and help scope is only offered up to and including the registration of your PBX with the sipgate network.
Configuring 3CX to register with sipgate trunking
In the 3CX Web Management Console open the "SIP Trunk" menu and click "+ Add SIP Trunk".
In the Pop-Up window choose the following:
Select Country: Generic
Select Provider: Generic
Main Trunk No.: Your sipgate phone number in E164 format e.g. 442033933909
Next, under "General" enter the following settings:
Registrar/Server/Gateway Hostname or IP: sipconnect.sipgate.co.uk
Outbound Proxy: sipconnect.sipgate.co.uk
Authentication ID (aka SIP User ID): Your Trunk's SIP-ID
Click OK at the top of the page. The trunk should now register online.
Note/Tip - Outbound Call parameter set up with sipgate trunking
on the “SIP trunk” config page, in the outbound parameters tab, the "User" from field should be set to use: “AuthID” as authentication type
