# How do I configure BLF with Snom IP Phones

**Note:** Before your can use Presence/BLF, an account Administrator must first book the **ipgate business L oder XL tarriff** in your sipgate account settings.

This guide describes the setup of sipgate Presence (BLF) with: Snom 300, 320, 360, 370, 710, 715, 720, 820 and 870 IP Phones. Using the instructions in your device manual, please login to the Web Configuration Menu of your Snom.

On the left side of your Snom's Configuration Menu, under **Setup** select **Function Keys**.

* **Context**: please select your sipgate account;
* **Type**: select **Extension**; (Firmware Version 6: the Key Type Extension is called Destination)
* **Number**: enter \<sip:**Extension**@sipgate.co.uk> e.g. use \<sip:**42**@sipgate.co.uk>to see the status of the team User with extension number 42.

Select your own sipgate account from the list in the left-hand column.\
In the centre column, select **Extension**.\
Enter '\<sip:<EXTENSION@sipgate.co.uk>>' in the field in the **Number column**. For example, enter '\<sip:<42@sipgate.co.uk>>' to see the status of the user with extension 42.\
Confirm your entries by clicking on **Apply**.
