Entering Your VAT Number

How to enter your VAT number in your sipgate account to have VAT excluded from service and call charges.

Prices shown on the sipgate website exclude VAT and are only applied within your account if you have provided us with a valid VAT number. Otherwise, 20% UK VAT will be included in service and call charges.

To enter your VAT number:

• Click Account Administration ➔ Account & Bills ➔ Settings.

• Under Billing Details click Edit .

• Please enter your VAT number without spaces and preceded by the country code e.g. for a UK VAT number please use GB123456789.

• Click on Save

If the VAT number you've entered is accepted the status will change to active.

If your VAT number is not accepted, please check the billing address and company name registered with your VAT Number using the EU VIES database:
